Description

Please advise why this very thorough & thoughtful post is being flagged. We have Hank, a beautiful 85 pound neutered boy who is 1.5 years old. He has been a family member since he was a young puppy. He is submissive to his owners (no food aggression, lays on his belly for rubs, will be a lap dog if you let him!) but he is very protective of his people. He is leash trained, knows basic commands and is a bit on the lazy side. He is not a fan of long runs or hikes. He has never been a chewer and does great staying in the house for long periods of time. He prefers cool weather, so will choose to lay in the tile area and really enjoys his outside doggie house time in our fenced yard. For all of his good qualities, Hank has developed into an alpha. He no longer gets along with our male and this is the reason we must find him a more suitable home. He plays great with our female and gets along with all of our friends’ dogs. Due to this alpha aggression he shows our older boxer mix, we must re-home Hank. His new owners will need to have an approved vet check and experience with larger dogs. Hank will come with his Embark genetic test results, collar, and blanket. Hank has been neutered and has his shots. Hank does have a re-homing fee of $500. We live near Pilot Mountain, NC. Email if interested.
