Press release from the Altadena Public Library:
December 12, 2020
In lieu of an in-person gathering to celebrate Christmas Tree Lane's centennial tree lighting due to public health guidelines, the Christmas Tree Lane Association partnered with the Altadena Historical Society and the Altadena Libraries to produce this series of videos honoring the fascinating tale of how Christmas Tree Lane came to be and the decades of dedicated volunteers that carry forward this important legacy.
Spanning from the mid-1800s to present day, these 13 videos provide brief glimpses into the lives of some of Altadena's key movers and shakers in creating the lane. The videos are available for viewing on the Altadena Library YouTube channel as individual clips as well as a longer version with all clips compiled.
