Description

It's not always easy to shop healthy on a budget. This program teaches SNAP recipients how to maximize nutrition-without sacrificing taste! SNAP-Ed OSU Extension classes are held at the Dave's Supermarket Community Teaching Kitchen in MidTown. Participants will learn how to best utilize their dollar to maximize nutrition for themselves and their family. Recipes are designed to be quick, simple, & and tasty - bring a friend or family member! Class is FREE to attend and cooking ingredients are provided/available to take home. Participants must adhere to Dave's COVID safety policies and meet SNAP eligibility requirements OR make <185% the federal poverty line to qualify. MidTown is a non-profit 501(c) 3 economic and community development corporation whose mission is to leverage our diverse assets to create a dymanic neighborhood uniting Cleveland's downtown and University Circle.
