In this introduction to stained glass class, you will learn the basics of copper foil stained glass. You will leave with a completed piece. In this introduction to stained glass class, you will learn the basics of copper foil stained glass. You will cut glass, grind the pieces, wrap the glass in foil, and solder it all together. At the end of this 3 hour class, you will have a stained glass snowflake sun catcher to bring home. This class involves cutting sharp glass and using hot soldering irons. Therefore, this class is for students 16 years and older. Jena is the maker behind Sea of Stars glass. She has been doing stained glass for the past 4 years and creates glass sun catchers from her home studio! This is an indoor class, masks are mandatory. There will be a $10 Materials fee due to the instructor at the beginning of the class The Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness is an oasis for people of all ages who want to explore both their creative, and artistic potential and overall wellness of the body and mind.
