Free well behaved cat to good home

Due to unforseen circumstances I am forced to give up my beloved cat Salem. He is 5 years old, well behaved, and neutered. He is the kindest little cuddle bug to walk on four legs. He will annoy you by licking your nose or walking on the keyboard other than that well he's perfect. Unfortunately I'm staying at a friend's before relocating to California to try and find work and a home and I can't transport him to California since I don't drive a car. He's fine with other cats, dogs, and new people but hasn't been around anyone under 6. I've been crying absolutely heart broken to do this but I'm hoping he doesn't have to go to a shelter.
