JERICHO, NY — Jericho firefighters held their annual 9/11 service Friday to honor those who died as a result of the attacks.
The Jericho Volunteer Fire Department held the ceremony at Station No. 1 on North Broadway. Following the service, the department marched to Glenn J. Winuk Memorial Park and held a service there to honor Winuk's memory. Winuk was a Jericho firefighter who died in the attacks and the Town of Oyster Bay park was renamed in his memory.
