Join us on a historical journey into the intellectual and cultural revival of American history. Called the Harlem Renaissance. Music, dance, art, fashion, literature, theater, politics and scholarship centered in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, spanning the 1920s and 1930s. Imagine the child who was moving from the South, were at a time when oppressinon and racism was at its peak. A time where equality and human rights were not a common practice for all people. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who was traveling north to plant their ancors in the creative soil of the new land. A place where all of their talents and ambitions would be respected and valued. February 26th we will educate and allow the community to "Recreate History" and create a narritive from their perspective. We ask the questions... "Who would you be?" "What would you do?" "What would you change?" "Who would you be?" Working Towards A Better Environment By Providing Positive Entertainment While Creating A Worry Free Experience.
