The Shopping associate operates a sprinter van and will be based out of our Chicago warehouse. Shopping isn’t just about picking up items for orders. In this role you must be thorough and pay close attention to detail to ensure we are providing our customers with high quality items. What You’ll Do: Shop for required items in a timely manner Operate company van to shop for required items Ensure high levels of quality and accuracy Work cross functionally with our inventory, delivery, and order processing teams Use a mobile/tablet device to track the status of orders and locate order items Locate and pick items from our warehouse shelves Check all picked items for quality and correctness Pack customer orders into delivery bags Handle inventory with care and attention Follow the company’s procedures and standards Work with the team to ensure a safe and organized work environment What You’ll Need: A minimum of 1 years of RECENT commercial delivery driving experience Ability to clearly communicate and read in English Must be able to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and Holidays\ Must be able to work a flexible shift (mornings and/or evenings) Ability to complete all basic and recurring training Must be able to deliver orders up to 50 lbs in weight to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time (this may include walking up or down several flights of stairs) Have their own smartphone with a data plan Ability to utilize smartphones for two-way communication with our Operations Team 21 years of age or older
