Doves and Vultures return to the Haul with Jon Martin! Doves and Vultures was formed in 2016 in Southern Oregon with a vision for creating music that dances between fluidity and absolutes. Through the years D&V have worked diligently to write songs that are as equally co-dependent as they are independent….working within the realms of melodic hard rock (Deftones, A Perfect Circle) all the way down to something that sounds like it belongs on the album “Painted from Memory” (Burt Bacharach/ Elvis Costello).The band is comprised of Daniel Myre (lead vocals, drummer), Jason Curtright (guitar, backing vocals), John Leisy (bass), and Matty Johnson (keyboard, backing vocals). They are looking forward to putting out two new EP’s over the next year that work in conjunction with each other to describe both the doves and the vultures of life. Jon Martin, an amazing local vocalist will open the show with a solo set.
