We are looking to rehome our 8 year old Catahoula mix. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. Great with all animals, children and in public settings. (Dog parks, doggy daycare and restaurant patios) He is going to need a special home. We have worked with him several years on his anxiety and have made the heartbreaking decision to try and re home. His perfect new home will be with someone who is home a majority of their time or able to take him to daycare to keep him busy while you’re away. We would love for him to go to someone with a yard. He is currently showing signs of separation anxiety, chewing blinds, scratching at exits of our home. Our vet has prescribed anxiety medication, $20 for a 3 month supply and this does help along with exercise. But we have realized we are not enough for him, and want him to have a life he is happy with. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
