We're throwing bags, raising cash, and networking for the Veteran community. The Silkies Invasion is an organization that has partnered with the Heart of Texas Marine Corps League 975 in order to create an event that brings veterans together by walking and talking. The cornole tournament will begin at 2:00 p.m. We will bracket teams and singles for tournament play. If we are not finished at 7:00 we will continue play until we have a winner of both the singles and team categories. Here are the rules: Boards will be 27ft. apartEvery bag on the board eqauls one pointEvery bag in the hole count for three pointsYou are allowed to knock off someone elses bag to cancel their pointIf you make a bag in the hole and your opponet makes it in the hole, those points are negatedWe play to 21(We will determine day of whether it must be 21 exactly or whoever reaches the 21 mark first to win)If we play to 21 exactly and you go over, you are dropped to 15Bangs bouncing off of the ground and onto the board do not count as a pointBags are not to be touched until the round ends
