Description
The primary function of an Installer is the day-to-day movement, disassembly, assembly, and warehousing of systems furniture. Installer will have an understanding of the proper techniques to handle, load, and unload systems furniture correctly and safely. They will understand terminology and parts that comprise systems furniture cubicles, private offices, case goods, and seating. An Installer will be able to install systems furniture using basic and advanced installation principles, including wall mounted products and wall tracked stations. Installer will understand all components of paperwork such as drawings, delivery tickets, and inventory sheets with minimal assistance. An Installer will have the all of the proper tools needed for basic and advanced installation. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. US Citizen or National with proper documentation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF INSTALLER include the following but is not limited to: Proper loading and unloading of systems furniture at jobsite, warehouse, and truck to maximize safety and eliminate damage to product. Removal of trash and debris from product, separate into recycling and trash Removal of recycling and trash from job-site and warehouse. Building of panel systems and case goods per print. Installation of wall mounted case goods and systems furniture including wall track. Installation of concrete anchors and other methods of floor anchoring. Complete straight cuts of work surfaces in the field. Cut standard grommets using hole saws in the field. Build break room, conference room, training room, and occasional tables including any power applications per print. Build task seating that requires assembly. Placement and leveling of case goods per drawing. Placement and leveling of task, side, and lounge seating per drawing. Placement and leveling of filing per drawing. Inventory furniture and creation of an inventory listing. Ability to pull furniture from Customer Owned Goods(COG), Elontec stock, and new product from provided pull list. Able to troubleshoot and enact repairs for service calls. Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries and service calls. Ability to read drawings and install products from drawing with minimal assistance. Able to take direction and create desired results. Mechanically inclined. Able to adjust in fast-paced environment and flexible schedule. Travel as needed. Other duties as assigned by management. We can train you if you are not skilled. Need to be a quick learner.
