The DSM-5-TR will be in print on March 15th, 2022. This workshop is designed to help prepare the mental health clinician for its release. The DSM-5-TR will be here before we know it.  With a set publication date of March 15th of 2022, this workshop is designed to give the clinician a head start in preparing themselves for the changes. Please join Dr. Todd Frye and guests as they take over 50 years of diagnostic experience between them to help you look at and assimilate the proposed revisions. The main revisions from the DSM-5 to the DSM-5-TR will be reviewed with an understanding of how it will impact your day in and day out operations.  Also discussed will be future considerations and how the DSM-5-TR will impact the mental health terrain.  The event will be held on the MNU campus in Olathe Kansas along with an option to attend on-line or to watch the recording of the event later. Keep in mind that if you register for the recoreded version there will be a quiz associated with it. The event meets the 6-hour requirement for Diagnosis and Treatment CU by the BSRB in Kansas. Cost is $110 Professional and $60 Student. Development text link Dr. Frye is Chair of the Counselor Education Program at MidAmerica Nazarene University. Todd has been chairing the department since 2007. Dr. Frye has been practicing professional counseling since 1996.   Dr. Frye received his doctorate in Counselor Education and Counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Idaho State University in 2002.   Dr. Frye's training is primarily geared toward working with distressed couples but also sees many individuals for a variety of reasons.   His area of specialty and interest is in work with individuals and couples who struggle with sexual issues/addictions and overall distress. He also specializes in work with those who have experienced loss and pain through relational trauma and abuse.   Dr. Frye is also an experienced international speaker and trainer.
