Melrose Terrace is a housing cooperative located on Capitol Hill in Seattle. We are looking for a part-time maintenance worker to support the daily operations of our building!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning common areas of the building (primarily sweeping and mopping)
Daily walk-throughs of building to identify issues (lighting, cleanliness, leaks, etc)
Daily maintenance of pool chemicals (training provided)
Occasional exterior and interior painting touch ups
Climbing ladders for lighting replacement
Carrying up to 50 lbs with dolly support
Preferences:
Hands-on, self-motivated individuals
Willingness to address janitorial issues
Ability to spot & address problems/communicate effectively with building manager
