Krav Maga Alliance affiliates are invited to improve your ground game and stress test your technique through competition style rolling! We're excited to offer an opportunity to train with some of the area's most talented jiu jitsu black belts. We'll have workshops led by Alex Meadows, Rafa de Jesus, and Randy Mcgill. We'll have an open mat after with the Alliance jiu jitsu team in Memphis where you'll get to roll with talented jiu jitsu practitioners. Sunday, you'll have the opportunity to stress test your ground skills in a submission only match. (you can opt out of the match if you'd just like to take the seminars) Guest instructors: Alexandre Meadows- 3rd degree black belt under Marcelo Garcia. Alex is a three-time Pan-Am No Gi champion, 2020 American Nationals Champion, and won the Absolute World Championships in 2010. Alex first began his jiu jitsu journey in Brazil under Master Ricardo De La Riva, a legend in the art who received his black belt from Carlson Gracie and is credited with introducing the De La Riva guard to the world. Alex is the founder of Midtown Grappling Academy in Memphis and is the head coach of Alliance TN. Rafael De Jesus- Profile coming soon- He's a black belt from Brazil with the best closed guard I've seen. Randy McGill- Profile coming soon- He's a black belt under Alex Meadows. His half guard game is unstoppable and he's a fantastic teacher.
