A convo about the future of development in the region, opportunities to invest and questions around the implementation of the comp plan.
The Claremore 2040 Comprehensive Plan was created to focus on the City’s physical and economic growth and development, and following a 15-month planning and citizen involvement process, the plan was adopted in March 2019. The accompanying Claremore Unified Development Code, which was passed in December 2021, is now the official guideline that regulates land use to ensure future development aligns and protect the community ‘s vision as articulated in the Claremore 2040 Comprehensive Plan. Several innovative tools exist in the plan, including the creation of four distinct geographic plans: West Bend | University District, Will Rogers Corridor District, Downtown District, and Historic Route 66 District, as well as access to municipally pre-approved building plans called a Pattern Zone that save both time and money for developers.
Join the City of Claremore, Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority (CIEDA) and Imagine Rogers County in a conversation about the future of development in the region, opportunities to invest and questions around the implementation of both the Claremore 2040 Comprehensive Plan and the process for the recently started Rogers County Comprehensive Plan process.
