Description
It is with a heavy heart that I am posting this, however, I have decided to do what is best for both my dog and me by rehoming him.
I adopted a Boxer/Mix from the ATL Humane Society in the fall of 2019. The large reason I want to rehome my dog is that I am not able to care for him any longer. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my overall mental health has taken a hit, and caring for an animal is not only hard to do right now but also very taxing. I know dogs feed off their environment and owner's mood. So I am sure this is not helping his overall health to be around.
I am also looking to rehome him due to changes in my environment and my lifestyle that are not ideal for him. Currently, we stay in a 700 sq foot apartment with noisy neighbors. Also, I accepted a job that takes more of my time away from him due to travel. Which was not the case with my previous job.
I really want to find a long-term and happy home for my dog. An ideal home would be quiet, roomy, with some outside area to run around in. Possibly other dogs to play with as well.
There is a rehoming fee of $50 and a mandatory interview that must be conducted.
I hope you can help!
