The Pittsburgh Youth Climate Action Summit connects young people from around the region with one shared goal: Climate Action for All
This event is hosted by youth, for youth! Participants will connect with other youth leaders to grow their climate action skills, build climate knowledge, and develop a climate action plan that brings solutions to life in their communities.
Intended for youth between ages 13-18 and their allies, you can expect to be inspired by an opening Keynote presentation, two sets of highly interactive breakout sessions, and plenty of networking and climate aciton planning.
Hosted in one of the greenest buildings in the city of Pittsburgh, the David L. Lawrence Convention center, the venue will be structured to facilitate collaboration, collective problem solving, and applied leadership.
Lunch is included and snacks are provided throughout the day! Teachers who bring a class of 10 students or more are eligible to recieve a $100 stipend! This is an event you won't want to miss!
Communitopia is a go-to organization in the Pittsburgh region for award-winning climate change education. We're especially interested in uplifting the area's youth and ensuring they have meaningful opportunities to design local climate change solutions that make their communities healthier, more equitable places to call home.
