Press release from the University of Delaware: Article by University of Delaware Police February 08, 2022 Newark Police investigate report of a BB gun being fired at pedestrians on Main Street Newark Police are investigating a report of an incident in which occupants of a vehicle shot a BB gun at a group of pedestrians on Main Street near The Green during the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 8. No injuries have been reported. There is no description of the vehicle at this time. Members of the University community are reminded to be vigilant. If you see something, say something. Be aware of your surroundings and call 911 to report suspicious activity. More safety tips are available online.
