MEDFORD, NY—Feel like you're seeing more IHOPS across Long Island lately? You're not wrong. The pancake and egg chain has opened four locations in the last five years, and a fifth has been announced in Medford.
Newsday reports that the property group that owns Sunshine Square, at 700 E. Patchogue Yaphank Rd., confirmed that an IHOP franchise will take over the former Ruby Tuesday's space this summer.
Ruby Tuesday's closed in 2020 after 14 years of business.
IHOP currently has 19 locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
