BROOKFIELD, WI —A Brookfield native earned a 2022 Academy Award nomination. Adam Stockhausen is nominated for production design for the film "West Side Story." In the same category Rena DeAngelo was nominated for set decoration. Stockhausen is no stranger to the Oscars; he won an Academy Award in for Best Production Design for "The Grand Budapest Hotel. in 2015, according Oscars.org. He was also nominated for Best Production Design for: "Bridge of Spies" in 2015"12 Years a Slave" in 2013 Stockhausen is a 1995 Marquette University graduate, according to the Marquette University website. His other film credits include: "The French Dispatch", "Ready Player One" and "Moonrise Kingdom," according to IMDB. The 94th annual Academy Awards air on ABC March 27.
