Sweet Rose needs a new home

Our family adopted Rose when she was about 6 months old from the shelter. We had lost one of our older dogs and needed a friend for our other female dog Vaughan. Rose got along with our older dog, however she did tend to pick on her since she was a puppy. Rose is now 3 years old and about 55 lbs. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Rose favors a Pitt bull terrier mixed with boxer or bulldog. She’s strong but lovable. Rose lives with our 2 children - ages 6 and 9. She does well with them, but she can forget her own strength sometimes. She loves to be outside to chase squirrels or sit and watch the birds. Unfortunately she does not stay in our fence. She has pushed through our chain link fence several times to roam. Rose is a sweet, loyal girl, but she needs a place to run and more attention and training than my family can give her.
