Cambridge Police Search For Brattle Square Bank Robber

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Cambridge Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say robbed a bank Wednesday. Police responded to Webster Bank in Brattle Square after receiving a report of a bank robbery in process around 1 p.m. and are actively searching the area to gather more information. Officers say a note was passed to one of the tellers, but no weapons were seen and there have been no reported injuries. Cambridge police say the suspect was described as a Black male, about 5'10" and wearing black pants and a black jacket. Cambridge Police DepartmentIt is unclear how much money the suspect took at this time. Patch reached out to Cambridge police and will update when we receive more information.
