FARMINGDALE, NY — Estée Lauder, a cosmetics company, intends to partner with Farmingdale State College to open a research laboratory and office on the campus in the spring, Newsday reported. More than 30 jobs would be created, and student scholarships would be funded. The college and cosmetics company signed a five-year deal that will see Estée Lauder rent 40,000 square feet in the Broad Hollow Bioscience Park part of campus, according to Newsday.
