Property Manager Needs Handyman for Ongoing Building Maintenance

Pell Properties is hiring a handyman for ongoing maintenance of our 4-story office building as well as three residential properties in the Historic District/Ardsley Park. The position requires the applicant to be set up as an independent contractor and must present proof/certificate of insurance when applying. A wide range of tasks will be requested, but some examples of that work will include: - replacing lightbulbs and light fixture ballasts - minor electrical and plumbing work - occasional framing and drywall work - patching and painting, staining - trim carpentry - repairing exterior window shutters - replacing batteries on 14' ceilings - glazing and window repairs - regularly place furnace filters in residential spaces A self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and willingness to collaborate solutions is a must.
