BURKE, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a two-alarm house fire in Burke Wednesday morning. The fire happened in the 5400 block of Crossrail Drive. Units encountered fire upon arrival and requested the second alarm. Firefighters got the blaze under control and were tackling hot spots. There was some extension of the fire to at least one neighboring townhouse, according to the fire department. No injuries were initially reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
