Here are the top five stories today in Irving: The City of Irving is looking for volunteers to help out with the 2022 Homeless Count. The efforts are part of a nationwide Point in Time survey. Click over to the Press Release Desk to find out requirements for the February 24 event. Projects along Hard Rock Road and Pioneer Drive are set to begin this month. City Council approved improvements to traffic flow, water and wastewater capacity and drainage back in December. These improvements will help address the surge in construction growth and development in that area. (Press Release Desk) Plan ahead to avoid delays! The City of Irving announced that westbound SH 183 at the SH 114 split to Loop 12 and Southbound Spur 482 to westbound SH 183 will close this evening at 9:00 PM and are set to reopen on February 11 at 5:00 AM. It will close for the same duration on the evening of February 11 to the morning of February 12. The closures are for construction that's part of the ongoing Irving Interchange project.
