NEWARK, NJ — Healing Her, a personal development organization dedicated to restoring the confidence of women of color following their traumatic experiences, will be hosting an "It's a She Thing" pop-up shop.
The event will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 627 Orange Street in Newark.
According to a news release, as part of Healing Her's mission to create a community of support for women of color, the pop-up shop will feature all local women of color-owned businesses and vendors.
Participating vendors will include sellers of natural beauty products, handcrafted accessories, desserts and health and fitness products.
Organizers said:
"Founded by Shayvonne Anderson in May 2020, Healing Her focuses on inner healing through healthy conversations, purposeful living, and supportive resources such as support groups, training, workshops and more. As a woman of color-led organization, Healing Her is dedicated to re-building the confidence of all women of color leaning on strong core values believing in justice, equality, liberty, safety, integrity, and most importantly, healing."
