Press release from City of Fort Worth: February 08, 2022 More Than Budgets is a five-week course that empowers participants to save and learn financial strategies. The workshops will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursdays at the William M. McDonald YMCA, 2701 Moresby St. Workshop dates and topics include: Feb. 17, Prioritizing and saving the More Than Budgets way. Feb. 24, Budget priorities. March 3, Credit fundamentals. March 10, Know your credit and debt rights. March 17, Banking fundamentals. Feb. 17, Prioritizing and saving the More Than Budgets way. Participants who complete all sessions will earn the MTB Certificate of Completion and will be eligible for the Match Savings Program. Tarrant County residents can earn a dollar-for-dollar match up to $200. Workshops are free, but registration is required. Limited spots are available.
