Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: February 8, 2022 JEFFERSON, LA - Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, one eastbound lane of West Metairie Ave. (closest to the canal) between Zinnia Ave. and Phlox Ave. will be closed. Motorists will merge to the available lane. This closure is necessary to repair sub-surface drainage and outfalls at a cost of $7,000.
