Press release from Richland County School District Two: 2/7/2022 Chief Special Education Services Officer, Katinia Davis, was among the nearly 50 educational leaders who took part in the National Instructional Leader Academy AASA, The School Superintendents Association AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) "It was a professional honor to take part in the National Instructional Leader Academy," said Davis. "At a time of unprecedented change and uncertainty, it has never been more important to build dynamic learning experiences for the students of Richland School District Two as well as districts nationwide. This program provides us with opportunities to engage in communities of practice focused on the essential role of district instructional leadership in supporting equitable opportunities for all students." The National Instructional Leader Academy offers educational system leaders who lead instruction, assessment and/or technology a community of thought leader practitioners with whom to learn and grow, enhance professional learning and build collective impact.  Objectives of the program include:  Successful completion of the program provides leaders with valuable, targeted professional learning to turn possibilities into probabilities for all students.
