Five new COVID-19 related deaths and more than 500 new infections are reported in western Kentucky.
The numbers remain high, but they do show a decline.
The Green River District Health Department recorded one new fatality in Henderson County, one in Daviess County, one in Hancock County, and two in Ohio County.
Henderson County's pandemic death toll reached 148 and Daviess County climbed to 352.
The department also recorded 506 more infections in the seven-county district between Friday and Monday.
In a release, the agency said its seven-day average for new infections fell to 278 per day.
