Pittsburgh-Area Teen Dies After Being Struck By Car

NORTH VERSAILLES, PA — A teenage girl was killed Monday after being struck by a car in the 1700 block of Lincoln Highway. Kayonna Harper, 17, was hit by the vehicle at around 6:30 p.m. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, Allegheny County police said. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. The county's collision reconstruction unit and homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
