Press release from the City of Las Vegas: Feb 08, 2022 We're offering free parking Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in downtown Las Vegas to allow residents and visitors to explore the many new and continuing restaurants!  All on-street meters in Fremont East will be free as well as parking in downtown lots in an area bounded by Stewart on the north, Las Vegas Boulevard on the west, Tenth Street on the east and Carson Avenue on the south. El Cortez and Downtown Project are contributing their parking lots to the effort, as well.  We designed the program for typical lunch hours, but if you stay longer than 1 p.m., you can use the Flowbird app at 1 p.m. to pay for any additional time. Just remember your plate number and what lot or street you parked on. The free parking program will continue until March 31, 2022.  The city is supporting local businesses in their attempt to recover financially from the pandemic with free parking.  This press release was produced by the City of Las Vegas.
