WESTLAKE, OH — The Westlake Demons boys basketball team won its first game in the Great Lakes Conference Tournament on Tuesday night. Westlake beat the Lakewood Rangers, 69-58. In the next round of the tournament, the team will play Normandy High on Friday night in Westlake. The Demons are now 16-2 on the season. They play Andrews Osborne Academy Wednesday night. The varsity game tips off at 6:30 p.m. Westlake High joined the Great Lakes Conference in August 2021. The boys play in the western division of the conference.
