New Trustee Appointed To Bolingbrook Village Board

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Jean Kelly was appointed as a Village Trustee for the Village of Bolingbrook at Tuesday's village board meeting. Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said Kelly moved to Bolingbrook in 1991, and has three adult children. Kelly served as the DuPage Township Assessor from 2016-2021, and is a former board member of the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce, Alexander-Basta said. Kelly has also served as president of the Bolingbrook Woman's Club, and is involved with the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 5917. "I'm committed to the Village, and I'm here to work for you," Kelly said. "I'm committed to the taxpayers' opinions, and want to hear your thoughts, so please reach out to me anytime."
