Press release from the City of Rochester: February 7, 2022 The final virtual community input session and corresponding neighborhood quadrant focus will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10 (Northeast quadrant). Mayor Evans is conducting a nationwide recruitment campaign to fill the RPD Chief position, which is currently being held by interim Chief David Smith. The search is being conducted by Public Sector Search & Consulting, a national search firm focused solely on the recruitment of senior police executives.
