JOB DESCRIPTION As a full-time McKinley Equipment Technician, you are responsible for the most important part of our company; servicing our customers’ material handling equipment needs. You will diagnose and repair service material handling systems including, commercial doors, security grilles, industrial lifts, balers, and warehouse equipment to dealership and manufacturer's specifications with minimal supervision. Ability to read and understand job orders to thoroughly and accurately complete scope of work. Participation in an on-call rotation is required. Other duties as required. A company work vehicle is provided therefore, a clean driving record is necessary. As the person with the most face-to-face interaction with our customers, you represent the McKinley name in every job you complete. This means, your mechanical, electrical, welding, and hydraulic expertise coupled with your ability to troubleshoot problems quickly, all while providing world class customer service, is the key to our success. Qualifications: • Must live in or close to the Phoenix AZ • ALL JOB OFFERS ARE CONTINGENT UPON A NEGATIVE DRUG SCREEN TEST • Clean DMV record required (Validated by HR before job offer) • TWO years of industry experience (Commercial Docks & Doors) • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Highly organized, punctual, and reliable • Strong attention to details and accuracy • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Physically fit for lifting and moving equipment (up to 60 lbs.) • Ability to successfully prioritize and meet customer needs • Expert troubleshooter & problem-solver • Sense of urgency and self-motivation; (ability to work independently) • Can learn new technologies quickly (iPads/phones/computers) • Contribute to team effort by performing additional duties as requested • High school diploma or equivalent • COVID-19 considerations: We follow all CDC and Cal OSHA guidelines.
