Where can I donate towels, etc to a rescue that needs it?

I have towels and blankets that I would like to donate to an animal shelter. I know that sometimes shelters are in need of such things. All items will be clean without any defects. I have just purchased new items. I can deliver or meet halfway if out of the cities.
