We have ASAP openings. SWING -$16.00 to 16.50/hour and overtime at $24.00/hour. Production Laborer openings for Swing shift 4:30p-1:00am+ and Day shift 6:45am to 4:30pm in Woodburn, OR at $15.50/hr Overtime is $23.25/hr... Bonus: $50- Saturdays and $100-Sundays NEW OPENINGS for swing and day shifts This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity for a Leader in the Food Industry. Includes a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental and 401K, after the initial temp phase. Duties and activities during shift: Perform duties to prepare and process meat and other ingredients using a wide range of methods and equipment under clean and sanitary conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and sort meat for processing by hand or by using equipment. 2. Work with machinery for injecting, sorting, tumbling, slicing, dicing, mixing, grinding, cooking, chilling, freezing, packaging, and sizing. 3. Inspect meat and ingredients for defects. 4. Apply quality assurance practices, hygiene and sanitation practices, and safe work policies and procedures. 5. Learn to operate various industrial food processing and packaging machines. 6. Learn and understand the concepts of HACCP, SOP, and GMP. 7. Rotate to different production lines and/or equipment. Physical Demands: * 1. Regularly required to stand and walk 2. Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms 3. Must be capable of speaking, hearing, tasting and smelling. 4. Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 6. Requires distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Ability to work 40-50 or more hours per week 2. Ability to work weekends as needed. 3. Ability to wear protective smocks, hats, gloves, sleeve guards, hairnets, rubber boots and, at times, cut resistant gloves.
