Description
Picture It....Sicily 1922! When we recently lost St. Olaf's woman of the year, there are those who felt like a generation of real friends and memories were gone forever. Life has a way of taking turns that show us tomorrow is not promised. Do you find yourself recalling the special times around Sunday dinners of pasta, lasagna, and the memories of the holidays spent making Italian Christmas cookies? Memories are our bridge from the past and sometimes reluctantly our roadmap to the future. Can you honestly say that you would be the person you are today if the elder generation did not take the time and teach you right and wrong, pass on life skills, and teach you what a real friend was? Our nation is going thru an unprecedented health care crisis brought right to our doorstep. No one has ever said, "When I grow up I wanna put my loved one in Shady Pines, but nowadays good quality caregivers are in high demand but short supply. I am a caregiver with over 25 years' experience with the elderly. I started my home care journey taking care of my mom who passed at 49 from cancer years ago. I know the stresses you encounter daily when you have to care for a loved one and still try to have a life yourself. I will be relocating back to Hampton Roads within the next 90 days. I do the normal ADL's folks do to be able to stay at home. I don't work for agencies or Medicaid, strictly private pays. Just bear in mind you don't get quality care on Walmart pricing. I do not do Hospice cases or smokers. I look forward to speaking with you about your home care needs. I have no problems with background checks or drug testing being done either.
