Bassist looking for a local group

You saw the title and clicked, so you're probably looking for a bass player. I've been playing for about 15 years and have a fair bit of band/gigging experience. I'm in another band that's my main pet project, but we've slowed to a crawl with scant signs of walking again and I'm tired of sitting around letting my chops go to waste. I'd really like to put in some work and get out playing bar gigs again with either covers or originals, or a mix of both. Mostly been playing death metal the last few years, and I'd like to do something a little more audience-friendly - preferably still on the heavier/progressive side but I'm open to suggestions. Progressive rock/metal, stoner rock, alternative, grunge...about the only things I won't touch are pop-punk and country/folk/adjacent genres. Not a hater, just not my thing, so I won't waste your time pretending I'm into it. I have a small arsenal of 4/5/6 string basses, a pedalboard, a full stack, and a car - about the only thing I can't offer is a practice space. I work a solid 8-5 Monday-Friday job, so my evenings and weekends are typically open for practice and gigs. I don't care if you drink or smoke as long as it doesn't get in the way of things. Hell, I may join you. No interest in junkies, band beefs, or stupid local scene drama. I'm 30 years old and don't have time for that shit.
