Come play something that will (hopefully) wake your brain up. ME: I am a singer songwriter/pianist that writes and plays "post-apocalyptic chamber pop". Think *Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and Paul Simon stuck deep in a bunker after the world has ended* kind of stuff and then keep going using your imagination. I've been pursuing this project since 2004-ish, long before the world actually ended, but have recently relocated to your fine but cold city of Minneapolis and am feeling the itch to get out and play some real shows again with real people in a real life setting really soon, realistically speaking. Have a form of transportation. Take covid seriously (I have a kid who can't get vaxxed just yet). Are interested in going new directions that are yet unseen (different styles, forms, etc) to us. Maybe you have a background in jazz or world music or the creative music scene what have you. Though we won't be using it very much I would appreciate it if you could do something interesting in 7/8 time. Similarly, I don't know what a paradiddle is but you probably should.
