Details: Open Position: Trim Carpenter Wages offered: $25 to $30 Job Type: Full Time Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (Saturday’s required in case of inclement weather) Possible overtime. Possible Start Date: We are hiring immediately. Locations: Springtown and Weatherford, TX Employee expectations: Apart from knowing your trade, all that we ask is that you are reliable, respectful, punctual, open to new methods of construction, able to follow directions, work in a safe manner, and ready to get the job done. Job Description: As a member of the Cornice Crew, you will be charged with ensuring the exterior cornice is put up on our single story homes in a timely and proficient manner. You will be charged with ensuring the highest quality of workmanship as well. Kairos Homes builds their houses much like an assembly line. We have a team that does nothing but build and erect the walls, a team that puts up the joists, and a team dedicated to erecting the roof. You will be assessed on your first day to determine which team you qualified best for and placed on that team. This will be based upon your practical interview which will occur first thing on your “start date”. If it is determined that you are not qualified for the position in which you applied for, you may be offered another position best suited for your talents and the company’s needs. This alternative position may or may not be offered with the same wages. Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in residential carpentry. Must know how to put up cornice/trim on a single story home Must have your own hand tools ie: hammer, speed square, tape measure, pouches Company Details: Kairos Homes has been around for 11 years and is a family-owned and operated business.
