A manufacturing plant in the Farmers Branch area is seeking a Warehouse Lead for their 2nd shift. We are looking for a dependable and self-motivated individual, who has some prior experience in a team lead type position. Previous manufacturing or production environment experience is preferred. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. Client is a 2nd chance company, background friendly and they are case by case. Starting pay is $17.00 and will automatically go to $17.50 once you go to 2nd shift.
Train for 2 weeks on 1st shift from 6am to 6pm Mon-Fri then go to 2nd shift from 4:15pm to 2:45am. Please send resume to [email protected]
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accurately setup machines and verify equipment is ready to start and complete the production cycle
· Monitor equipment and make adjustments, as necessary, for proper operations
· Oversee a section of 4-6 machines and ensure packers have tools they need to perform their job, including, but not limited to, breaks, lunches, tools, and PPE
· Maintain housekeeping standards, daily cleaning of machines and orderly production area
· Complete work order paperwork neatly and accurately
· Other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or general education (GED)
· Experience with fill line or packaging equipment preferred
· Ability to read, understand and write data in English
· Maintain good attendance record
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be reliable and punctual is a must
· 2+ years of previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment
· Previous machine operating experience in the packaging industry a plus
· Ability to lift to 45 lbs., to stand, walk, twist and turn frequently
