We are seeking Mold Maker/Mold Repair Technician to join our innovative company. Job Summary: Mold making process and make concrete models by constructs metal components together with rubber for fabrication or repair using a variety of methods according to layouts. Extensive use of welding and cutting equipment and other specialized metal cutting, bending, binding tools. Job Duties: • Repair, adjust, and modifies molds to address production issues. • Regular Preventive Maintenance on molds. • Utilizes trade skills as appropriate, such as, welding. • Adjusts functional parts of equipment, using hand and /or power tools. • Fabricates parts in shop. Experience with shop tools and equipment. • Complies with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies. Minimum Requirements: • Physically able to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and lift up to 50lbs. • Ability to work standing for up to 8 hours. • Ability to discern and address quality problems. • Ability to meet quality and productivity goals. Experience: Two (2) years of welding/fabrication in maintenance shop preferred, should be able to fabricate products safely using gas and any combination of arc welding processes. Additional responsibilities include thermal cutting and grinding. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have sufficient level of education to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature relating to plant component repairs, welding, and fabrication. Must be able to troubleshoot equipment to diagnose problems and minimize downtime for repair and maintenance activities.
