Suspected 'Groper' Arrested In Albany For Multiple Offenses

ALBANY CA — A 53-year-old Albany man was arrested this week for allegedly groping women on at least two occasions, and, while being booked, groped a probation officer, according to authorities. Gholamrez Yaghobi was arrested for alleged incidents on Sept. 29 and Oct. 4, where — on both dates — the suspect purportedly approached the female victims in public settings, made brief comments and then reached out and touched their breasts, the Albany Police Department said. "While being booked for the second arrest, Yaghobi groped a female probation officer," police said. Following his arrest, Yaghobi was transported to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, officials said.
