Warehouse Maintenance/ Shop/ Runner responsibilities include: Loads and unloads trucks, moves supplies and materials to proper location Picks up and or Delivers parts to designated area. Cleans warehouse & surrounding grounds Operates power lawn mowers, cuts trees, brush, grass, and trimming of weeds Mows lawns weekly during the proper season. Cleans landscaping tools and equipment after each use. Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment Weeds grounds weekly or more often if needed. Performs minor maintenance on buildings and furniture as necessary Picks up leaves and trash Assists in Maintaining all warehouse and storage areas Acts as ground guide when needed Assists in Maintaining the storage area in a neat and orderly manner. Change our light bulbs and other minor maintenance work. Understand and maintain all safe work practices and rules. Light housekeeping and janitorial duties Inspects common areas and exterior of the property and grounds; reports deficiencies to Warehouse Supervisor. Contributes to the team; facilitates a great attitude to our Vendors; exhibits professionalism with fellow employees and others with whom there is contact. Performs all other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a Valid Drivers License Must have a Clean Background Must be proficient in the operation of power hand mowers, weed eaters, or equivalent tools. Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal directions Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs or more with assistance. Ability to carry out goals and instructions and to follow through on assignments. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, climb and walk frequently.
