Pay: $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience Key Responsibilities/Duties Keep our mobile grooming vans in tip-top shape Taking calls and texts to troubleshoot salon equipment. Drive to do light duty repairs to salon equipment in the field Create and maintain work orders for the mechanic Facilitate van swapping for regular maintenance and repairs Maintain a van schedule by coordinating with office staff Keep inventory of parts Purchasing and shopping parts Keep spare vans stocked and ready Clean and wash vans Clean and organize shop area Assist on-site mechanic and office staff Other tasks as assigned Required Skills and Competencies Second Chance Employer – Applicants with criminal histories are welcome to apply Valid Driver’s license A great attitude is a MUST Excellent work ethic and attendance At least 6 months experience in some sort of manual labor Must be dependable, flexible, and have the ability and desire to help when needed Entry-level computer experience preferred Essential Job Functions Ability to work and stand on a regular basis Ability to bend, stoop and reach consistently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Able to work weekends and/or overtime - as needed Competencies Attention to Detail: Performs tasks and completes responsibilities according to prescribed standards Change Management: Rapidly adapts to unexpected situations and/or obstacles, while remaining composed and focused Communication Skills: Listens to understand and asks clarifying questions when messages are unclear Nice to Have Painting experience
