SAILBOAT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Manhattan Yacht Club is looking for positive, can-do type of individual to help maintain our fleet of sailboats. About Us: Manhattan Yacht Club is the premier sailing club in New York Harbor with over 400 members. Manhattan Sailing School is the Club’s public arm and is one of the top schools in the U.S. Our clubhouse/office/fleet is located in downtown Jersey City. Job Description: Includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: • Maintaining fleet of sailboats – painting, fiberglass repairs, tuning, replacing parts, • Maintaining J/24 Maintenance Shed in tidy manner • Watching inventory of parts and alerting when purchases are needed • Ad hoc projects as assigned Requirements: • Positive attitude and flexibility for various projects assigned. • Experience driving a powerboat a plus. MYC will train the right candidate. • This is a physical job and requires someone who is in good physical condition. Not Remote Work. Full-Time.
